Well again, it depends, mainly on your destination (region). Generally, Ecuador experiences two main seasons: the dry season (June to September) and the wet season (October to May).
The dry season, particularly from June to August offers clearer skies and less rainfall, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities, hiking, and exploring the Galápagos Islands. However, this period also coincides with higher tourist numbers and probably higher prices. For high-mountain the best season is from late November (the beginning of the wet season) to mid January, as lower temperatures make glaciers more stable, avoiding avalanches or crevasses.
The wet season is particularly good for observing wildlife and lush green landscapes. Ultimately, t’s essential to consider what activities and experiences you prioritize when planning your trip.
