South Plaza is a small island in the Galapagos archipelago and it is located to the east of Santa Cruz Island. It offers stunning scenery and sheer lava-shaped cliffs that are now covered by Opuntia cacti.

General information
The most characteristic plant of the island is Sesuvium. During the rainy season (January to June), its colour is yellowish-green and during the dry season (end of June and January), it is bright red.
Main sites
A single 2.5-kilometre trail gives you the opportunity to observe, especially the famous land iguanas that you will certainly not have seen yet (unless you go earlier to the Santa Fe and North Seymour Islands).
