Vanessa
Vanessa Introduction...
Hola ! My name is Vanessa and I was born in the north part of the country, in San Gabriel (Carchi province), located 40 km from the border with Colombia. I lived in San Gabriel until I was 7. My parents decided to move to a bigger city to get a job so we moved to Ibarra (Imbabura province).
So I grew up in Ibarra and studied “tourism business administration and national guide” there. Furthermore, I took advantage of a great opportunity to travel to Swiss where I lived for 5 years and learned French. For 9 years I have been living in Quito, the capital.
I am a French speaking-guide. I love the particularly the archeology, trekking, and adventurous community stays.
I like to feel like an ambassador of my beautiful country. And what could be better than transmitting the wonders of Ecuador!
The most rewarding feeling for me is to see my travelers happy to enjoy every moment (landscapes, food, volcanoes, ethnic groups, etc…) and when they tell me “Vanessa, thank you. We fell in love with your country”
I like to run, walk and read.
I love to visitQuito, Cuenca, and its “Aboriginal Culture” museums. I love the Quilotoa-Tigua trek and hike to the Cotopaxi and Chimborazo refuges.
The peace and tranquility brought to us by the Indian community of San Clemente is unique. The Amazon for its mysteries and the Galapagos to enjoy the sunsets.
Yes, many things ;). The Piñan trek, the Condor trek, the Sangay volcano which is difficult to access but must be a wonderful experience, and “Los Tayos” cave. I would enchanted return to the Yasuní National Park and the Cuyabeno Reserve.
I have been working with ITK for a few years now. I had the pleasure of knowing Antoine and, the difference is that I have a friend who allows me to supervise stays with a lot of confidence and professionalism. Each request from our travelers, once there, is handled in the best possible way.
I like the friendly atmosphere at the agency and we guides are well rewarded for our efforts. Many thanks ITK!

David Introduction...
I was born in Quito and currently I am living in the north part of this beautiful city!
I am a licensed National Tour Guide and I can work in any field the tourist needs. I have knowledge in both natural and cultural fields in Ecuador. In the other hand I very much enjoy the high mountain hikes, treks and nature.
It has been 20 years now that I have been involved in tourism-related activities. Within this time I started as a tour guide 15 years ago dedicating myself with more emphasis to this profession.
I started in this profession because I always wanted to know my country, socialize with people from different parts of the world and show them the wonders Ecuador has. A country with so many touristic resources that everyone should know.
Among my motivations I would say that I find satisfaction by sharing my knowledge with a foreigner who visits my country.
I’m passionate about visiting new places, learning new things and, above all, serving my passengers. May they enjoy it as much as I do.
I think one of my favorite climbs is Cotopaxi. Its cold climate is sensational, the view while ascending is incomparable and the sensation of reaching higher and higher, and being close to the ice that covers its summit. It is a unique experience.
Each of the regions of Ecuador has its particular charm. The coast with its beaches, the east with its culture and nature, however my favorite region is the mountains. It has several mountains to climb, lagoons and incredible animals.
I think that what I haven’t done yet in Ecuador is to visit the Galapagos Islands.

Jorge Introduction...
I am 40 years old and I live in Baños, Tungurahua region. My whole professional life I have been involved with the tourism industry. I am a national tour guide & international high mountain guide (UIAGM)
I particularly love mountain ascents, treks and climbs. Aside from being a National Tour Guide, I am an international high mountain guide (UIAGM), and tandem paragliding guide.
As a child, my dream was to touch the snow. So I started to work with that objective in mind. And I helped the guides of the time to translate into English.
Meet new people and now I would like to guide in other countries, in particular, in Europe and Tibet.
The mountain and the paragliding “hike and fly”
The Antisana volcano ascent, Baños (where I live), and the Banco Central museum in Cuenca.
My region ….Baños!
To go to Cerro Hermosa in Tena.
